Welcome to QuickSite!

QuickSite is intended to provide a comprehensive website template for CodeCharge Studio developers. It is also intended to act as a learning tool by providing examples for just about every CCS feature available.

QuickSite is a combination of CCS modules that are controlled by the underlying database. Modules can be added and removed from the site quickly by editing the "modules" table. All static pages, this one for example, are stored in the database and can be edited using any web-browser and the integrated FCKEditor.

The "module" system, although not necessarily the most complex, allows for quick modification of the site. You can change the sort order of the menu, availability of any module, module names, etc. with a few simple changes. CCS's new Dynamic Style was used for all modules, allowing quick customization of the entire site and multiple user selectable styles.

I have released QuickSite 1.00. The initial release will includes many modules and all the CodeCharge code you can handle. It does require MySQL 5.x and PHP 4.x.

QuickSite is really intended for developers to have a good start on any site they are creating for a customer, but out of the box I can see it being used for personal web sites. This is why I have instituted the NO BS License Agreement. The rules to the agreement are simple. They are:

QuickSite costs $49
Registered users can use it on as many sites as they want.
I'll never charge for an upgrade. Pay once and it's yours.
Of course, I'm not perfect. I'm not responcible for any screwed up code I wrote at 3 AM, although, if you point it out, I'll really try to fix it. If it can't be fixed to your satisfaction the limit of my liability is give you back what you gave me.

What is QuickSite?

QuickSite itself is written using CodeCharge Studio 3.x. Your ISP or web server must have PHP 4.x+ and MySQL installed.

What does QuickSite cost?

QuickSite is $49. After purchasing it you may use it however you want without royalties.

Do I need CodeCharge to use QuickSite?

Yes. QuickSite is only distributed as a CodeCharge project and a few supporting files. Any sites you create with it however will not need CodeCharge. This means you can create sites for customers without any extra software.
